Enjoying the journey.

Heya! I'm a proud South Bronx, NY native. While I am mostly in Los Angeles, you can often catch me joyfully stomping through the streets of New York. I am the daughter of a hard-working, beautiful single mom who catalyzed my interest in the performing arts. It all began as her clever way to keep me busy. She enrolled me in all kinds of classes at the Harlem School of the Arts. There I studied many forms of dance (ballet, jazz, West African, tap, modern) and acting. Once I landed my very first role as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady at HSA I was hooked. At the tender age of ten I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Yikes!

My newfound passion for the performing arts led me to the legendary Fame school, LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts. Although I loved my HS experience, artistically, I was unsatisfied with my academic education.  I decided to pursue BA in Psychology at City College of New York. I graduated with honors. After graduating I merged my love of Acting and Psychology as a social worker and by facilitating theatre-based workshops to empower socially at-risk teens in the South Bronx.

While I was passionate about my social work, I yearned to act. On a whim, I auditioned for the Julliard School. I was thrilled to not only get in, but I received a merit-based full scholarship! Woot woot! I graduated in 2008.

Since graduation, I have had the pleasure of working on television, film and theatre. I've worked at many theatres including: the Taper, the Geffen Playhouse, Denver Center Theatre, the McCarter and the La Jolla Playhouse. I have appeared on wonderful television shows including Insecure, StartUp, Southland, Hail Mary, Monday Mornings, Medium and ER.

Up next I am sooooo excited to be shooting two wonderful films, a thriller entitled Red River and a film adaptation of A Doll's House starring Ben Kingsley. As always I am grateful for this moment and oh so giddy about what is to come... :-)
